Panderman Cup Ke 8
The Elementary School Basketball Competition
or Panderman CUP 2023 has opened
SMPK Santa Maria 2 Malang once again held the long-awaited annual sports competition, Panderman Cup 8. The lively opening ceremony took place on October 9, 2023 at the school's basketball court, attended by students, teachers, and loyal supporters of the competing teams. The opening of Panderman Cup 8 began with a captivating performance from the school's modern dance extracurricular. The dancers managed to entertain the audience with energetic movements, bringing the spirit of competition to the stage.
The next event was hosted by Mr. Beni, a talented MC who guided smoothly and entertainingly. He gave an exciting introduction to start the event.
The atmosphere then became solemn when Mr. Trianto Thomas delivered the opening prayer. His prayer became a request for safety and success for all participants and committees in this competition.
After the prayer, all attendees sang the Indonesia Raya song and the SMPK Santa Maria 2 March with full nationalistic spirit. The excitement was even more pronounced when the students performed character claps accompanied by the school's marching band.
The Principal, Sr. Dorothea SPM, M.Pd, conveyed her warm welcome to all invited guests and participants. She hoped that this competition would be a place for students to develop their talents and skills, as well as foster a spirit of sportsmanship. ( see Match Results )
Not only that, the opening ceremony also featured an exhibition match as part of the opening ceremony. The first match brought together SD MID 2 against SD Laboratorium UM, while the second match was between SD MIN 1 and SD Sabilillah.
The break was made even more special by Naura Sahpa's stunning solo vocal performance. Her melodious voice managed to captivate the entire audience.
The next match was between SDK Santa Maria 3 and SDK Kosayu 3. The break was filled with another solo vocal performance, this time by Natalia Abigael, who successfully stole everyone's attention with her golden voice.
The competition continued with high spirits as SD Pelita Kasih competed against SD Islam Terpadu Robbani. The last match in the opening ceremony of Panderman Cup 8 was between SDK Santa Maria 1 and SDK Santo Yusup 2. The opening ceremony was closed with a fierce match between SDN Lesanpura 4B and SDN Lesanpuro 4A.
Panderman Cup 8 is expected to be a healthy and spirited competition for students to show their best potential in various sports. All participants, coaches, and supporters of this competition hope to achieve glory and valuable experience in the world of school sports.
